Antti Ronkainen

is a political scientist with a special focus on economic and monetary policy, and the political economy of Europe and the United States. His forthcoming dissertation studies the institutional transformation of central banks from the Global Financial Crisis to the COVID-19 pandemic. He is an often consulted expert in Finnish parliamentary committees and a frequent commentator in the national media. He has edited two books on European politics and the Global Financial Crisis (Vastapaino 2011 & 2019).
